Cari Ali looked great in May sitting at the dock. I saw her in Newport, RI at Forty1 North Marina. There is a constant influx of great yachts in Newport and Cari Ali held her own. Her sturdy design qualifies her as a world traveler. She has all the function of a work horse expedition boat, but with a closer look you can see a lot of thought went into her finer points. She has all the yacht qualities any one could want and all the function any captain or crew could wish for. I wish they would have had me aboard when she pulled off the dock. I have had some inquieries by the marina guests as to her actual performance. I would love to hear more.

Thought people might be interested to know that this Nordhavn 86 has recently been introduced to the Luxury Charter Market. You can learn more about her features by visiting www.caryali.com

I agree that it is a very unusual color. I'll ask the Nordhavn folks about it to see what it's called. Thanks for the comment. Let us know what other interesting boats you see up there.

Just saw this yacht tie up in the inner harbour in Victoria BC. It is quite a spectacular ship for sure, however I have to say I question the choice of color for the lower hull. It is actually a sort of tan with perhaps gold flake color, however at certain angles in bright sunlight it appears to be flat black, and is almost cheap looking until you get right up close and see it's true rich color.
