While it’s always nice to be able to get into the store and check out the feel of a braided line you’re considering, or the heft of a small anchor for the dinghy, sometimes you just want to log onto a website and see what’s available and at what price.  West Marine has put its entire 50,000-item catalog online.  In addition to limiting the requirements for printing, it should help those of us who need to track down a part or product while we’re cruising.  Some of the new products in the 2009 catalog:
