<description>I suppose the best challanger would be one of the late Steve Dashew designs, bild by Circa Marine in New Zeeland, the FPB series 83 or 64.

<description>i am amazed that no other builders have commented on this challenge. personally, i love the marlow yachts. i read that so many people and other builders think david marlow is a blowhard. if that is the case, take him up on his challenge and see which yacht wins.
one would think that this is the perfect opportunity for another builder to put marlow in his place, if they can.
i do notice one item that is unusual about the challenge. the fine print indicates that another boat builder must send a request for the complete rules. why does marlow not publish the complete rules of his challenge? is he hiding something (such as a rule that all yachts must be 74 ft in length, blue in color and displace 115,000 lbs)? i would think he would do well by disclosing all the rules for the boating public to see.
