The 63, at bottom left in the photo above, has a LWL of nearly 58′, with a beam of 16′ – 10″, and a draft of 5′.  She holds 1,000 gallons of fuel to feed her twin Cat C-9 ACERT engines, and will carry 300 gallons of water, bringing displacement at full load to 78,500 pounds.  All Outer Reef Yachts are certified to CE Ocean category ‘A’ which means the yacht can safely handle winds greater than 40 knots and waves higher than 4 meters.

The Taiwan factory is also ISO 9001 certified and all yachts are built to ABS guidelines.  European Union-destined boats meet the CE recreational boat directive for safety standards and have the CE mark.  The current product line extends from 58′ to 115′.  The new 63 will be commissioned in Florida and transit to Newport in time for the show, which runs from September 11-14 this year

Outer Reef Yachts is one of three in-house brands of the American Global Yacht Group.  The other two are Molokai Strait and Newport Yachts.  The owners of AGYG are Jeff Druek, the Outer Reef Yachts founder, Jerry Cureton, founder of Molokai Strait, Fred Azar and Trey Beasley.  AGYG also represents Rivolta Yachts and Apreamare here in North America and is the Chesapeake Bay regional dealer for Formula Boats.
